      We just wanted to mention that we have just upgraded our support forum software to the latest and greatest version of Invision Community. This will translate to a significantly better experience for users and hopefully a huge reduction in the amount of forum spam that pops up. Forum spam is poison to a support forum such as this because it robs support administrators of time which would have other wise went to providing important responses.

In the past few years, our full-time jobs and family have taken up the free time that was once dedicated to ListMessenger development.   3. No keys recieved

    Hello Guest OCI, Have you tried the following suggestions? 1. That your e-mail provider allows you to accept .zip files. Your license key comes in a .zip file attached to the e-mail with the license key. 2. That it didn't end up in your spam folder. 3. That you have your e-mail address correct in your profile. Those are typically the main things to check for. When all else fails, switch your account e-mail address as the last guest suggested. Best Regards, Karla Simpson

  8. Login Failure After Successful Installation

    Hello travelgasm.com, The issue with the login was that PHP was unable to write to your session.save_path. To fix this issue, You simply need to edit includes/pref_ids.inc.php and change the PREF_DATABASE_SESSIONS constant on line 120 to "yes". Like this: define("PREF_DATABASE_SESSIONS", "yes"); Ideally PHP's session support would by default be configured to a writable directory on your server so that you wouldn't need to make this change. Hello Seektruth, If you install ListMessenger on a new domain or subdomain that is involving a change in the domain name assigned to your original licence key you need to inform us of the change. You are not able to use a licence key for more than one domain name unless it meets the requirements for a licence key reset.   14. Why Should I Not Use Aweber? And Use This.

    Hello Raven, I am not familiar with the product you are speaking about, but I imagine it is just the way they are wanting to sell their product. Ours is priced the way it is partly because we have not had time to do any upgrades to the software or add any new features in a number of years. If we had the dedicated time to work on revamping ListMessenger, we would also change the selling model. Please feel free to try out our free version before purchasing the Pro version.   19. How Does This Handle Bounces?

    Hello Guest_John, The answer can be found in our Knowledge Base: ListMessenger currently does not have an automated bounce handling system, although future versions of the program will contain this feature. ListMessenger does have an administrator definable "Errors To:" e-mail address that can be set in the ListMessenger Program Preferences. Any bounced messages will be automagically returned to this address for either manual processing or for /dev/null'ing.     Hey John (this is Matt at Karla's computer), As you've indicated the archive.php file shows all of the messages that have been sent. This would include the same message multiple times if you've sent it multiple times. If you'd like to change that open the archive.php file, and change the database query on line 372 to: $query = " SELECT a.*, b.* FROM `".TABLES_PREFIX."messages` AS a LEFT JOIN `".TABLES_PREFIX."queue` AS b ON b.`message_id` = a.`message_id` WHERE b.`status` = 'Complete' GROUP BY a.`message_id` ORDER BY b.`date` DESC"; Essentially you're just adding "GROUP BY a.`message_id`" which will only show one copy of the message. -Matt Simpson
